I was a bit worried by some reviews but honestly our stay here was perfectly fine! To be safe, we checked for bedbugs just in case under mattresses and what not and found no evidence. It's an older building but got the job done for a easy place to stay.
Hotel staff are great. I'm in Pittsburgh often and the price is unbeatable. I had no problems changing my reservation this past weekend with hotel staff despite the third party company giving me grief over changing my check in date. My room is always clean including linens. Housekeeping or hotel staff are available to assist if I need an additional item or assistance. My deposit is always returned immediately without an issue. My stays have been positive from the beginning and the reason I return.

Listen this place is horrible don’t do it u can’t get in your own room they charge u n call cops to kick u out there’s duck tape in the bathroom floors there’s roaches n rat wallahi deen worst service I ever had at a motel in my life never come here
I enjoyed my stay at Hilltop Hotel. The beds were always comfortable and the rooms are always clean. Hotel clerk and owner were very accommodating with booking arrangements...which I was very grateful for. I wasn't sure when I would get the keys to my new place, and had to extend my stay longer than what I had intended...I was grateful to have a place to stay that made me feel comfortable while paying an affordable price.
Marina at the counter was sweet. There were no extra pillows like I was promised in my reservation but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
This place literally saved me in my situation. I am more than grateful for the long term affordable room that got me through. Staff became more like friends and I felt like I was in a community by the time we left. The rooms were comfortable and if there was anything wrong at all staff was always more than happy to make things right. I received my full deposit back with no issues at all and would absolutely check in again. Great people and hardworking staff. Ms Pam is forever my favorite lady. Front desk always happy and kind. The Hilltop will always have a place in my heart. Not sure what I would’ve done without this place!

This was a selection through Expedia and the best price so I went for it. The staff was very nice. Conveniently location for us, late-night gas station is near too. The doors lock and the water is hot. Thank you!
Staff is sooo nice. Marina and Haley especially! Room is iffy but clean for the most part. Smell like smoke a little bit even in a non smoking room. Definitely the lesser of two evils, DO NOT stay at the motel 6 up the street it is a nightmare in all the ways you can imagine.If you are looking for a cheap stay for one night it’s worth it
